The Mario Kart Arcade GP games are created by Bandai Namco with the Mario Kart license, the Nintendo teams responsible for the regular franchises not involved in how it is produced. While the Mario Kart series has continued reliably on Nintendo consoles ever since it kicked off with Super Mario Kart, an odd splinter franchise has existed within it over in the arcades.
